Closely related to peppermint, Chocolate Mint is a hybrid of M. citrata and M. piperita. Interestingly, it does not smell of chocolate like the name would suggest but rather like an "an Andes after-dinner chocolate mint." Beautiful dark stems and glossy foliage.
Please keep planted in container above concrete to prevent spreading to undesired areas.

Light: Full Sun, Part Shade
Water: When surface of soil is dry. Most vegetable plants benefit from not wetting foliage to prevent disease.
Fertilizer: Organic or conventional. Use as directed on the package for leafy greens. Use 1.5x if using an all purpose brand for heavy feeders such as tomatoes and squash.
