Pepper - Pepperoncini (JulieAnn Gardens)
A traditional specialty pepper from southern Italy, Pepperoncini is best known for pickled peppers. Also called Italian sweet peppers or Tuscan peppers, these mild, tangy fruits are typically harvested at 2–3 inches long when green or yellow-green. The peppers have a slightly wrinkled skin and crisp texture and are commonly used in salads, sandwiches, and antipasto platters. Plants produce fruits ranging from 2–5 inches long. Summer growing season; about 70 days to maturity. Container friendly.

    Water: When surface of soil is dry. Most vegetable plants benefit from not wetting foliage to prevent disease. 

    Fertilizer: Organic or conventional. Use as directed on the package for leafy greens. Use 1.5x if using an all purpose brand for heavy feeders such as tomatoes and squash.
