Our single cup kits are perfect for those wanting to document the growth of each caterpillar separately. Watch as caterpillars grow many times their original size, turn into chrysalises, and emerge into beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies! Great for science experiments and homeschool biology projects. Designed with parents and teachers in mind with no mixing, transferring, or feeding caterpillars required! This amazing process takes 3-4 weeks, please plan accordingly. If more caterpillars are needed for your study, larger kits are available here.

Shipping Temperatures
*Please make sure your day and night temperatures are between 45 – 85F to ensure safe delivery for your caterpillars* Illinois customers can pre-order their kits for delivery starting April 6th. We will contact you before shipping your kits if we deem weather is not suitable for shipping on your selected week.
Butterfly Releases
*Painted Lady Butterflies cannot be released in CT, ND, or WA. Please keep butterflies indoors for their entire life cycle. Butterfly Kits ship US only (unfortunately we cannot ship to Puerto Rico)
