Custom plugs are produced at a higher price to account for untested germination rates and unpredictable growth habits. Please ensure your seed packet has enough for production following the guidelines below:
- Leafy Greens (Lettuce, Kale, Swiss Chard...etc): 10 seeds per ordered plug
- Brassicas: 3 seeds per ordered plug
- Herbs: 10 seeds per ordered plug
- Legumes: 4 seeds per ordered plug
- Alliums: 20 seeds per ordered plug
- Pelleted Seed: 3 seeds per ordered plug
*The above seed per ordered plug rates can be the assumed quantities we will use for your plug production. Any extra seeds will be returned to you after plugs have finished growing.

Water: When surface of soil is dry. Most vegetable plants benefit from not wetting foliage to prevent disease.
Fertilizer: Organic or conventional. Use as directed on the package for leafy greens. Use 1.5x if using an all purpose brand for heavy feeders such as tomatoes and squash.
