Native to the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, this pimento produces bright scarlet, scrumptiously sweet peppers about 4 inches wide. Compact plants reach around 24 inches tall and produce early, tolerating cooler conditions better than most varieties. Summer growing season; approximately 55 days to maturity. Container friendly.
