One of the most popular butterfly garden plants, Pentas is available in stunning shades of pink, purple, white, and red. These beautiful flowers originate from southern and tropical parts of Africa and bloom profusely throughout the summer months up till first frost. Most varieties do not require deadheading for continuous flowering. These clusters of blooms are butterfly and hummingbird magnets! Grows 1-2 feet.

Another butterfly favorite here on the farm. Lantana flowers open in one shade and fade to another brilliant hue! A fantastic nectar plant from Mexico that does well in hanging baskets or as an attractive ground cover. Blooms from early summer to first frost and does not require deadheading. I personally love the minty smell from the leaves. Flowers turn into berries that are not edible. Grows 1-3 feet.

Hummingbirds go crazy for this showstopper! Stachytarpheta, or Porterweeds, are unique plants that open new flowers every morning. Their dainty blooms only last 24 hours but are replaced by new ones the very next day. Pictured here is Stachytarpheta mutabilis, one of the larger growing species in their genus which can reach heights of 7 feet! Their flowers also come in purple, red, and blue shades. A great nectar plant for shadier parts of the garden.

Fresh cut flowers grown in our pesticide-free garden. Every bouquet is different, made with love, and has provided local pollinators with a safe food source before being enjoyed by you and your loved ones!

One of the earliest flowers that we get to enjoy here at the farm. Sweet Williams are absolutely stunning even in a vase by themselves and every cluster of blooms are a little different from the next. With a beautifully rich perfume, Sweet Williams make a memorable gift for a loved one, or even for yourself! We have a resident hummingbird that likes to taste test these flowers before they are harvested for the market.

These cheerful flowers come in almost every shade of color and have an amazingly long vase life. Our neighborhood butterflies can be found fluttering from bloom to bloom every morning and I have a feeling they love the Zinnias even more than we do. Visit us this summer at the Farmers' Market to see what Zinnia varieties are in season!
